Show Restraint in an Argument

Life taught me not to speak too much when I'm angry. Find ways to calm down or learn that emotions don't justify recklessness too late. I know that I never meant what I said the because I am living with regret now. Hold your tongue in the heat of the moment. It could save you from losses too great to forgive yourself for. Stop before you hurt someone you love.

Especially if that person you hurt has been patient with you. One day they get so tired that there's no way to salvage anything you had between you and them.
