what do you do with your old newspapers???

I just throw them out. I don't know of any place to sell them for recycling. With the government practically giving trees away in national forrests in order to protect the lumber industry, the supply of pulp from trees for paper is such that recycling can't compete.

We have mandatory recycling in my town; we don't get paid for it, but we also don't have to take it anywhere==it gets picked up. Sometimes I save newspaper to throw wet trash in (coffee grounds, etc.) and to cover the floor when I'm painting the apt.

I use my old newspaper as a placemat at certain times,to wrap those wet garbage (prawn shell and etc) before throwing it into the dustbin or using it to wipe my glass door/window cos old newspaper is a best solution for a squeeky shining glass . And I also recycle it to the newspaper recycling man and get some cash in return.

i too sell it to recycling man...

yeah same ovr here too. we sell it for recycling purposes...and we do get some money in return for that...n we also use it for covering things...n materials....
