Kids Say the Funniest Things!

In my career I have worked with a lot of children and naturally I have heard them say some pretty cute and funny things. One of my favorite stories is when I used to work in an after school extended day program. I was helping the kids with their homework and I asked one little girl what she learned in school today.
She said that she learned all about the United States and the names of the various states. I told her that was great and she replied that there was one state which was her favorite state.
"Which state is that?" I asked her.
She replied. "The state that has the animal in it's name".
I was puzzled....."Just what state has an animal in it's name?"
Without hesitation she cheerfully answered. "New Hamster, Of course!"
Do any of you have any funny children stories? You really never know what they are going to say!

Very true. One of the children I work with at school enjoyed an informative video I showed the class about tornadoes. Several days after he viewed it he asked me if we could watch the video with the tomato again. I was confused until I realized that he meant the video with the tornado.

Yes. My son, who is going to be 9, keeps begging me for him to live with me when he gets older...not only him, but also his wife and her family...

When my sister was pregnant my 7years old cousin saw her and said to her I know how you got your baby then my sister asked "how" and she said "you did it"
