I mean, a pretty bad one? Today I had the immense displeasure of discuss with a great childhood friend, and damn... What a bad situation, the feeling is terrible! At the moment, we're still not talking... But I hope things will get better in the next few days.

Sorry you had that happen to you, but unfortunatley sometimes old friends are just that old friends, i still love my friends from childhood and think about them but as far as hanging out no because we no longer have much in common.

That's a shame if you have fallen out with an old school-friend.

Some good friends still will have these issues. Sometimes I think it depends on whether the people are generous or not. If they are not mean, they shall accept to different opinions and it is OK to have a debating.

what is the reason for not talking with a childhood friend? Did the situation make you dumb? Sometimes, it happens.

Me and my life long childhood friend are still best friends to this day.. we still talk everyday and I went to her house last night so she could cry on my shoulder.. and I'm pretty sure you guys will be just fine in a few days.. all friends fight or disagree once in a while..

i know how you feel and maybe he feels the same, if you both said whats in your heart and been honest with each other, then i guess you should both let it go. you know better than us if its worth losing friend over that or not, only you knows that. hope everything will be ok

I think anymore it happens all too often. As we get older we tend to get set in our ways, and when someone does not want to see life the way we do it causes strife. All you can do is let things calm down and try to apologize and if they do not want to accept it move on. Their loss.

People tend to grow apart as they get older. I don't have any lifelong friends as such.

I have some childhood friends who betrayed me and choose newly acquainted friends before. We are in the same block and no chance of talking to patch up the old times.

I am sorry that you are not talking much to each other. That happens. People grow apart or something tears them apart.

Oh no. I'm sorry to hear that. Was it something you said that got taken the wrong way? Or is it something that you were trying to address and it didn't go well? Sometimes I find sending an e-mail helps. You can say in writing what maybe doesn't come through when spoken. Good luck!

I would be happy to meet a childhood friend but run out of words to have a conversation. That would be a situation of shame. Anyways things will get better soon if we start meeting up. I hope everything is fine now between you and your friend.
