Yeah! They're a team of geniuses that the government hires to handle operations when things get too complicated. And a lot of the show is about their personality-problems (how they were usually 'social outcasts' growing up, so now they're "learning how to integrate back into society").
You might also recognize the guy on the far right ... T-1000 from Terminator 2
