Post Card Exhibit Revisited

This is one of the post card displays at the museum.
The history of Chesterfield County goes back to the 17th century, so I took my time looking at everything in the museum. I also watched a video which covered quite a lot of the history, especially about the tobacco industry that actually began here in this county by John Rolph.
It was a very pleasant visit. I was the only person in the museum except for the lady in the office and she was very helpful. I talked with her about my search for post cards and she told me that in November, there will be thousands of post cards for sale at the John Tyler Community College when they have their annual event.
She also told me that most of the post cards would cost 25 cents. Some may be 50 cents and some will be more expensive.
I will definitely stock up, but I'll have to wait until November.

Yes, I really enjoyed the quiet stroll around the different rooms and watching the video. I had the place all to myself that day. It was nice
