Goodbye France.
Goodbye Germany.
Goodbye Italy.
Goodbye Everyone.
We came, we did stuff, and now we're waving Goodbye!. We had fun. Some of us didn't want to leave, but our coats are on and we're stepping bravely over the threshold and into an unknown future.
Wish us well, comrades!

@poppylicious I hope they'll be gracious enough to let me back into Italy. Oh but it doesn't matter - as an Irish citizen I'm still a member!!

Goodbye and good riddance
The EU is so poor at money management it is unbelievable.
If they want this 50 billion or whatever we should not pay a penny until we see where the 4+% of misused money went too.
Paying for stupid projects where I suspect massive back handers reached some of the eu elite.
When we are eventually out we need to take a long hard look at how the UK spends it's money because although not at the level of inefficiency of the eu we're not all that great either.

@topffer The whole of the EU is a stupid project. Trying to bring so many disparate countries under one political and fiscal umbrella is a ridiculous notion.
Ordinary people across Europe need to wake up to the fact that the Euro is a tool designed to make German exports about 20% cheaper than they should be. Ask the youth of Spain, Italy, Portugal and Greece how the EU is going for them!!

I'm just going to wait and see what happens over the course of the next couple of years. Maybe we'll come out of this smelling like roses. Maybe we'll find ourselves up poo creek without a paddle.

I do wish you well! I just heard that the EU is demanding you pay a lot of money to separate from them and I hardly think that's fair. I hope all turns out for the best for you.

If we owe the money, I guess it's only fair we pay it. In the EU or not, we need to keep good relations with our closest neighbours. :)

@topffer Then maybe all of the states who haven't been paying their 2% of GDP to be members of NATO should pay that before asking us for more money. If Germany paid what they owed to NATO their budget surplus would be wiped out. They currently only pay 1.19% of GDP and your own country are failing to meet their promises by only paying 1.78% of GDP. But please, do carry on labouring under the misapprehension that the EU has kept peace in Europe when actually it's been NATO that has been responsible for that thanks mainly to the USA, Greece, UK, Estonia and Poland who are the only countries paying at or above the required 2% of GDP. Yes, even Estonia and economic basket case Greece are doing more for European peace than Germany and France. You must be so proud!!!
I have no objection to paying for anything we have committed to but at the same time that should mean that any money the EU has committed to spending in the UK should also be honoured.
