A lot of people have various nicknames online. Most people just use their first initial and last name. Which I have done sometimes. Sometimes people will use their initials with their jobs, hobbies or birthyear. Which I have done also. For a long time online people just knew me as "research" because I did do a lot of various kinds of research particularly genealogical research. Sometimes in various group I would have to change it to dfresearch, research61 or what ever variance was available. Because of my favorite Disney character is Tinkerbell I have used some types of words wink Tink in it like dreamertink

Sometimes that is what you have to do if your name is already taken or if you change jobs, have new interest's or other changes.

That is good too! And I am part Irish and American Indian too. And throw in a little Scottish. I have done 2 DNA test's and all they say is that I am part eastern European. When I ever have the money myself and 2 of my grown children are going to do the DNA test from Ancestry

@celticeagle The other two previous ones I did......one was free done by a college in Mississppi . Then my cousin paid for another one she wanted me to do. Both of them said I was Eastern European. Well I know I am part Native American and it didn't tell me where in Europe. I was told that Ancestry DNA tell's you more

Because my name is Amber a lot of people called me Ambie, or Ambie Pambie. So I shortened Pambie, and thus, AmbiePam.

@Courtlynn If I did it was done by accident, cause I just now saw the delete button. I did not even know that it existed.

Well, it's always good to know. Mine is because i thought it was cute that this little penny earns, because each little penny adds up. I don't know, it seems kinda sily now, but it was cute and funny to me when I signed up. I have various ones. My swagbucks one is ifish42, and that was my Bubblews name back when I was writing for them. That was from the fact that I love fishing and my birthday is april second.

I have been (and still am, oftentimes) MythMan, because I'm 'too amazing to be real' sometimes. Lately I've been using a mix of my Chinese Horoscope (Rooster) and my 'usual' horoscope (cancer, the Crab) and going by 'Rabst.' I've also heard that a ... 'movie' ... -star name is a person's first pet's name with the name of their street growing up, making my ... 'movie' ... -star name "Booger Raven."
