Being a cyclist, I tend to eat Clif Bars during my longer rides. They taste good, and supply your body with necessary fuel without making you feel bloated. So when I saw Coconut Chocolate Chip, a new flavor to me, I had to try one. And they are really good: Coconut flavor with chocolate chips and chocolate drizzle. It does not taste like the usual Clif Bar, which have a very distinctive flavor due to the rice syrup used in the recipe. These are definitely more coconut and chocolate than rice. Each bar has 250 calories, 50 of which are from fat. You do get ten grams of protein, but also 43 grams carbohydrate, 21 grams of which is sugar. I liked this flavor. A lot. I will definitely be taking these along on those 35-mile rides!

I had tasted this before. When I was a volunteer in Tajikistan, an American volunteer gave me a couple of bars before leaving the country. It saved me for hunger when I was having field work.

@teamfreak16 I hope I can find such brand in my country. It is also good to bring such packs while having travel.

On my rides, I am not exactly pushing it, so I haven't felt the need for snack. I do stop for a good meal, though

I'm curious about this one too. Does it still have that soy protein aftertaste, or does the coconut overpower that?

Yeah, the coconut overpowers it. They're really good.

My favorite Cliff Bar. I eat these when I am busy on the job doing labor, painting or mowing grass at the rentals.
