Amazon Wishlist and Kindle Unlimited...

I have noticed lately that when I am looking for other books to read on kindle unlimited, that I tend to save some on my "wish list." Kindle Unlimited is $10.00 monthly and allows you to borrow up to ten books at a time. It is still unlimited, so you can "return" a book or books and then borrow others as well. I am not sure if it's offered to non prime members or not. I've started putting some titles in my "wishlist" so that I can go back to it later and borrow it, or if it's one I have to buy, I can buy it without forgetting about it or trying to find it again. Do you use your wishlist in this manner? Or is strictly for things you want others to buy for you? Or you intend to buy but at a much later date? Do you have Kindle Unlimited?

I use wishlists a lot on Amazon. I don't find Kindle Unlimited good value though. There are too few books I want to read included.

It's definitely not a service for everyone. There are times I don't find anything to read on kindle unlimited. I'm not sure exactly how Kindle Unlimited it works. I believe the authors have to "opt in" to allowing their books on kindle unlimited. They also get paid a little differently than just kindle books, and I believe it's paramount to go through the entirety of the book (100%) for them to get properly compensated that way? I've seen a few authors mention it in their afterword, asking the reader to go to the very end...

I really never had either. I mean, I wishlisted a furniture item so that I could find it at a later date, but then never bought it from that place... Then the only other time I can think of? I wish listed it because a friend wanted to buy me something and had no idea what I would want, so I wishlisted a few things I might like.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Did your friend buy anything off the wishlist. I made wish list for my sister on what I wanted back in the days but now I have not. I keep a mental wishlist in my head though. :)

@infatuatedbby hahah, no she just ended up giving me an amazon gift card! lol. That reminds me, wishlists? When you were little (or even now) do you write down several things you want (Birthday, Christmas) and your family work off of that list? Mine never has. I mean, I would tell my family, but they never had me write it down and I never saw them write it down either. When I was married, my mother in law wanted us to write down what we wanted. The first year, I didn't want to do it. I didn't think it was right.

I do not have a kindle and I do not want one. I like the old fashion paperback books to buy and read.

It took me quite awhile to switch to the kindle experience.

I have used the wishlist for other things, but not for a long time. I think the last time I put something non book related on the wishlist was when I was "saving" the link to a comfortable queen sized blanket. It now serves as my mattress cover.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I share my wishlist (especially books and movies) with my friends and family, so they can have an idea if they want to buy a gift for me.
