MY MOVER AND SHAKER.

What makes my bank move and really shake those coins into the till? Well, for me it is posting one - or sometimes two discussions each day - and if they are well received - meaning a fair amount of responses and subsequent interaction - then I am good to go. I am sure everyone is aware by now of the importance of interaction - and because there are other matters to attend to in my daily schedule , posting just one or two discussions per day gives me time to read and respond to the posts of others during the time I have to spend on Mylot. Talking about moving and shaking - do you like dancing ? and when last did you go out to do it? I must admit that the last time I shook anything in public was over ten years ago - but I do dance, exercise at home. What about you?

I'm still pretty busy living real life to be here much. I'm out dancing and partying to burn those cocktails and food off!

Now that I'm back every day, I am seeing my bank move more, and the notifications are piling up again. I try to post more than one a day, though that didn't happen yesterday. My back was in a lot of pain yesterday so I couldn't sit for long, and then my head got into the act, so I didn't get as much done as I wanted to yesterday. It was the weather. It's been raining off and on since yesterday and more rain today, but without the aches and pains so I hope to get more done today.

@Kandae11 I didn't sit for long yesterday, so that wasn't the reason. I know I can sit in this chair for upwards of 10+ hours, but I couldn't handle more than an hour at a time if that, yesterday.

Sitting for long periods can do that to your back too. Regular short breaks should help.

What is the connection between starting a discussion or two and dancing? I dance only when I am alone, so that no one could comment or mock my clumsy moments.

@cacay1 What is making your laugh? My response or comments of @Kandae ?
@Kandae11 (56823)

The connection is the title. We are always talking abut the movement of our bank here. So I spoke about how I get mine to move. With dancing you need to move - and probably shake a bit. - so I combined the two in one discussion.

There is no hard and fast rule how one can be successful here For those who have brought with them a great following no matter what they post there will be responses on their posts. Then there is the time zone factor when posts do not show on top in the recent activity tab and so on. One should do what suits them in that see how successful they are following whatever system.

That is pretty much what gets my bank moving too! It works for me as well. Yes I love to dance and my fiance and I like to go out dancing though it has probably been about 8 months or so since we last went dancing. When we go out dancing we own the dance floor. lol We have been known to even dance around the campfire!!

@Kandae11 It is a dance fitness program. You dance on an energetic music. You can say that is a much more fun way to do physical exercises. The aerobic movements associated with zumba seems to be very beneficial. When i started doing this I experienced the following - i was able to sleep better at night, i felt healthier and stronger too i can say and yes after 2 months i started losing weight

I've not danced in a very long time either, but once my knee is completely healed I hope to begin doing it again if only in the house to favorite tunes would be fine with me. We don't really have the extra money to go out dancing and with my husband having a prosthetic, I'm sure he'd not be interested at present either. Not saying he couldn't dance, but he keeps getting sores on his legs from it not fitting exactly right. If and when that ever gets better maybe we'll have to consider finding a place to see what we remember, lol. Or maybe there will be a wedding to attend in our future who knows. I wondered how you were going to correlate dancing to money in your bank, lol. I find that posting a new discussion often enough does help move things along too. Even though me visiting enough people in a days time will move the bank along too, you can't always expect everyone you've hung out with in a given day to do the same for you, whereas posting something new usually finds someone around to read it. I'm trying to post a bit more often than I used to do, but I've not quite gotten into the habit of posting once daily just yet. I like to make sure I can do enough visiting when I do post and sometimes I don't have enough for both.

I hope the time will soon come when both you and your husband will be able to dance again - even at home or possibly at a wedding. Yes, my posting system works for me, because, along with the other things I have to do -there won't be enough time to interact if I posted more.

Before all these problems with my knees, I loved to dance. Last time I went dancing was with my late husband. We had so much fun together. That was maybe about 7-8 years ago. I miss those days a lot. I doubt I'll ever be able to really dance like that again, but I'm hoping I can get back to walking a little more.

@Kandae11 I do a lot of dancing from my chair when I have music going. My feet get tapping and my arms get going! But I do miss the old days when my exercise routine was to just put some music on and dance my heart out!

I only post about once or twice a week, that's enough for me. I like to visit everyone who comments on my posts, as well as replying to them, so it takes a fair amount of my time to keep up. I don't dance now, hip problems.

Aw I hope you can go out and dance more if you feel so inclined. :-) I agree - at a different site I was up to 10 posts a day. I have no idea how I did that. Now I aim for 1 post, 1 is my goal - 2 if I can get it in, then lots of interacting. :-)
