Snowy Alcohol Music War

After a morning spent shoveling snow, my girlfriend and I decided it was a good day to stay in, drink beer, and have a music war. Music War is a game we play, where we sit around and play music for each other. We have wildly different tastes, so the way one of us "wins" is by playing something totally unexpected, out of character, or something with a really cool story. Often, these can turn into all-nighters.  Do try this at home. Her sample: "Humble and Kind" by Tim McGraw, "I Cross my Heart" by George Strait, "Anything Goes" by Patti Lupone, "Tomorrow" from Annie, "Beautiful Boy" by John Lennon. My sample: "Bus Stop" by The Hollies, "Led Boots" by Jeff Beck, "Romeo's Distress" by Christian Death, "Shama Lama Ding Dong" by Otis Day and The Knights, "Might as Well be Free" by Jon Butcher. Her strategy was, as always, to bombard me with a steady dose of modern country and soft rock (and show tunes) before going for the kill (she almost always wins this way,) whereas, as always, I'm all over the rain place, hoping that something sticks (I rarely win this way.) This one went on for a few hours, with neither of us budging. Finally she pulled up, and this should show you just what a romantic guy I am, the first song I ever played for her: "Too Drunk to (insert colorful euphemism for making love here)" by Dead Kennedys, which is kind of hard to top.
