Why do I take such long naps?

I have been wondering about why the naps I take are so long nowadays. It does help me get on with the rest of the day, but my day is cut in half. Today, after that awesome lunch with lentils, a big amount of broccoli salad and some lettuce, I watched Leticia have coffee and geting ready for an afternoon of work. I saw her smoke her cigarrette and told her that I´d be heading for bed. I thought I would just rest my feet but in no time I was asleep. Do any of you have this problem? Still, I don´t sleep as much at night and go to bed quite late.

I don't really get the chance to take naps all that often. But when I do, it's usually just a short nap and I really need one.

Broccoli is something I really like. I imagine it could be the Food in part and the way you feel. I managed to get to sleep all the night through thank goodness for that as I had a very busy day ahead of me. Still a bit tired and a bit fed up but not half as much as yesterday as a lot of old history was raked up by someone that did not want to let it drop and reminded me of it for most of the day and night and I was shattered I can tell you. Night, night again. Angels on your Pillow Margi.

Thank you, Sue I suppose part of my not sleeping too much last night had to do with that superb spanish food I ate last night.

@amadeo I have cancer. Had chemo 5 years ago and now I´m on remission. Just 2 weeks ago, the oncologist decided it was ok to take out the catheter reservoir.

I do have that problem if I lay down and take a nap, so I try to avoid taking one later in the day

It seems that more than a sleeping disorder, it has to be with watching the best TV shows.

I think that is alright. Sometimes we may need extra rest in a special time. It is just like charging a battery.

Yes and I think it's because it takes me too long to fall asleep at night. I hope you had a good nap at least.

Good you seem like a good sleeper. Sleeping is a struggle for me. I don't take naps so I can be very sleepy at night
