Do expensive foods/drinks worth the price?

Shrimps, exotic fish, lobsters, oysters, caviar, champagne, whiskey, wine and many others options... Do you think they worth all that money? Some can be really expensive, but I can not stop eating shrimp and lobster (I mean... I eat them whenever I can). I don't care for the drinks.

I guess that depends on your income, and the purpose of eating the expensive food. If the reason is to celebrate an anniversary or birthday, then there is no harm in having a good time. It is not as if you have reason to celebrate every day. Income level is another thing to consider. If you have to work a week just to afford a meal like this, then that is not worth. A meal that is digested in just a few hours is not worth 40 hours or more of your life

@computerguy1980 That's my favorite way to celebrate too. Stuff full of sugar, fat and salt, and worry about health any other day of the year.

I think it is worth if eating this in the countryside. It wasn't so pricey.

@computerguy1980 I'm not keen on stuff that is too spicy. Otherwise I like most things.

Spending on eating is far better than spending on drinks.

I can't afford exotic food and if I could I'd buy something more useful. I'm vegetarian anyway.

I'm not sure. I like store brands just as well.

Spending more is not required for eating healthy. We should select our own food.

No, I do not! I like simple food and I don't actually like any of the things in the list above! One of my favorite food is eggs, which are about as cheap as you can get, but delicious in any form!

They are worth it when someone else is buying. haha!! I think it is worth it if you really want it and have the money.

I think once in a while if you go out to eat somewhere and it is expensive then it is ok to eat there. I would not do it all the time.

I like things like that but I rarely buy them only because I can buy so many others things for the price they want. I do treat myself to seafood every once in a while though.

Everything depends on earnings. I f you earn sufficient you can eat what you desired but not you have to wait.
