Legitimate Ways to Make Extra Cash

I stumbled upon this website in my quest to find legit ways to make some extra money. I've tried the online surveys but most only reward you with gift cards. I also have scanned receipts to earn cash after acquiring points. Market research has made me a few bucks for checking out restaurants & submitting a review. I'm curious, what have other people done to make some extra cash easily?

Welcome to myLot! Have you read the two most important pages, the Community Guidelines and the Earnings Program FAQs, both of which can be found under "Help" in the menu under your username? These will tell you nearly all you need to know about what the site is about and how it works.
myLot is a discussion site and the earnings depend, not on how much you post, but on how much other people interact with what you post. The more that others respond to, comment on and 'like' your discussions, responses and comments, the more you will earn.
Don't expect that the site will make you rich, however! It is not difficult to reach the minimum payment of $5 in a month and a few people manage to make $10, $20 or even $30 some months but you cannort expect more than this! The best way to use the site is to enjoy the social aspect ot the site, to find friends who are interested in the same topics as you and to engage in interesting discussions and to learn many things on the way.
myLot has been around for 11 years now and has always paid reliably (and automatically) every time payments have been due.

Crowdtap is one of the sites that pays in gift cards. It is easy to do and to earn.

Most of us here are not here to make money - it's more like fun money. If you want to earn gift cards, Swagbucks or Crowdtap are two good ones. CrowdTap is fun, no interaction, try it. I was a mystery shopper for many many many years...gave it up when we moved to a very out of the way area.

I am a mystery shopper. Most times you have to put money out then get reimbursed. It's worth it sometimes.

@JudyEv I usually take assignments that give me a night out like a restaurant or movie theater so I'm not really going out of my way. Most times you can bring someone with you so it's like getting a free or discounted meal.
