Here's a video that I found while looking through news stories, where Hilary Clinton talks about why she lost to Trump. I have kept pretty quiet about my thoughts on her, and of our new president- but this was kind of interesting. Regardless of how one feels about her.
Hillary Clinton says there are 4 reasons that substantiate why she lost her bid for the White House to Donald Trump.

Technically that isn't true as hilary got more votes than trump...the majority of those that voted did not vote for trump, they voted for hilary or someone else.
He won due to the electoral college system.

@Mike197602 Hhmmm. I don't disagree with that. Since the system that being using was the same system US used on previous election, it is fair to say Trump won the way others have won the election.

I think Trump won because America wanted a strong leader, one who would change things. Hillary didn't seem to be a strong leader with her health issues. Well, we got what we asked for. Not sure if it is a good thing or a bad thing yet. As I feel it is to early to decide.

Hillary can not admit that she ran a dismal campaign and with all her lies, she was weak. Trump ran a better and stronger campaign. He proved himself the stronger candidate.
