Palm Sunday rings in the Holy Week

Palm Sunday commemorates the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem. The day's service will start in the little playground outside the church. Palm branches will be blessed by the priest and given out to the people. Then the people will walk in a procession around the neighborhood singing and praying. When the people enter the church the Holy Mass will begin. Another highlight of the day's liturgy is the reading of the Lord's Passion. I am looking forward to being a part of this beautiful ceremony.

Palm Sunday seems much the same in all parts of the world. It is a very important ceremony isn't it?
