Thanks mostly to the cold I've been fighting (a very stubborn cold), I wound up with a kidney stone this past weekend. I've had them before, but this one was painful to the point I was afraid I was getting a kidney infection too so I ended up going to the emergency room to be safe. I'm much better now. There was no infection and the stone, while painful, didn't take too long to pass. But, while I was at the ER, they wrote me out some prescriptions, just in case I needed them. This was one of them and, when I took the time to read the potential side effects, I saw this. Needless to say, these pills remain unopened in my medicine cabinet. I didn't feel I needed them that much. I mean, seriously, how does something like this even get FDA approval? It's not like it was prescribed for a life-threatening illness.
