run into people

Another small world story

But this time it wasn't running into someone from my past. It was running into my across the street neighbor's daughter. Well, she still lives over there, I think... Back when she was in high school she got pregnant and had a baby. She graduated and went to ACC for a year or so, then joined her younger sister in San Antonio. So, today I went to my GP because I caught a cold that turned into bronchitis, of course. As I came out, she was waiting for her son to come out of the bathroom. Mind you, she knew me, I am terrible about recognizing people away from their... location? For a big city, I sure do run into people I know!

I am sorry about your bronchitis. I am pretty good at recognizing people even after many years.

@LadyDuck That's me... absolutely, don't recognize people out of context... although I do generally recognize her mom when I see her.
