Finally, Another Music Genre Stepping Up Besides Punk Rock

It has been a while when other genres stood up for the small person on a regular basis. Caught this of the Veterans-Stand Facebook page. These were the veterans of the United Stated of America that stood with the Native Americans against the Dakota pipeline. I think the video speaks for itself along with who shared it.

GRRR!!! for some reason I can't get past the Continue to YouTube page. Ok, I finally managed it. Great video. They caught lots of the action that is going on. It also made me cry. To see this sort of strife going on for Native Americans touches me. My husband is Lumbee. Native Americans were here way before anyone else was.

I like it when bands stand up for what's right. Justin Sullivan from New Model Army has actually been arrested for protesting.

Indeed, and that is frowned upon these days. Standing up for what you believe in and getting arrested. Unless, you are on the right side.
