Creating a video question.

I have used windows movie maker to make a few movies, mostly by adding pictures to a song. However, I wonder if it is possible to add a video to a song? If so, I haven't figured it out yet and hope someone can help me. The video is one I took with my phone, the song I want to add to this video is a song from a CD I uploaded to my computer. Yet, I am not about to connect the two. Is it possible without having to download a different program?

You can simply extract the audio track from the CD using Windows Media Player.

You can add a video and lower its volume to zero and then add the audio file of the song you want to play. Adjust the timing as to from where you want the song to play.

@Carmelanirel2 You mean you need to cut a portion off the song and use that part only. I cut the part I want to use from audio file using Format Factory.

Hi, it has been a long time. How are you? I don't think the problem was with Windows movie maker, but the fact that this program doesn't have a feature to edit a music file. I can edit pictures and videos by cutting or slicing, but not the music. JJ shared a program that does that and it worked.
