When virtual becomes real

We come across many in our virtual world specially when we are members of forums and chat rooms. I have been on a couple of forums earlier and although I have interacted with scores I managed to get one real friend. We are friends even now. We are on FB and we also send emails and occasionally talk over the phone . She is from the UK and during one of her visits to India I invited her over and she spent a couple of days with us, along with her friend. She already knew what Indian food was and therefore I had no problem cooking her favourite dishes. She had already told me what she wanted to see and so I planned a nice itinerary for her. She was just the same as I had imagined her to be. I waited for her at our gate and when she got off the car I was very excited to see her and she said that she too was excited to see me. We had hidden nothing from each other during our virtual interaction and so that made matters easy. myLot could perhaps throw some good friends?
