It's a special Friday for some

Not everyone is christian but for those who are happy Good Friday.
These poppies always strike me as appropriate for both spring and Easter. Usually they bloom in the beginning of March for a short time but it's as if they bring in the season of new growth.
Do you have special plans for today?
Are there poppies where you live?

We met my Mama and Daddy at my aunt Helen's house and both Michael and David (two oldest boys) were there as well. I needed to get a table and chairs, bookcase and refrigerator from her home. Plus we got a riding mower and a little cart that goes with it. Keith was happy about that. The mower needs some work but I don't think its going to be a problem.

Awesome, at least you didn't have to come up with money for those things and those are always something we need sooner or later.

Yes they really are pretty. I've tried to grow them but I've had no luck.
