13 Reasons Why is a television show on Netflix with 13 episodes. The show is based on a 2007 book by Jay Asher. I intend to read the book. This show has many scenes that are for a mature audience including the person that takes their own life. We listen to her speak on the tapes about her life and why certain things happened and why she felt this was her only solution.
Be prepared to feel helpless, angry and sad during many of the tapes. I wanted to put several people in jail. The actors will make you want to take action and make a difference. I'm recommending this show, as its a wake-up message that we all need to care about others.

I hope more people watch, as more awareness needs to happen. There were a lot of different important issues and it was hard to watch some of the things that happened in this show.

Yes! I watched it and wrote about it and feel the same. I cant see how some people are saying it needs to be taken down and that the girl did it for attention and was selfish. Ugh

I watched that show and want to read the book too. I think the show was good and hope for a second season i think it has a good message because some tapes the people seemed to do really bad and some seemed something small but all contributed to it so i think it's important to see how one small thing you do can strongly impact someone's life.

I agree some of the tapes were small things that can add up over time. Others were serious problems. A second season we could find out what happens to the characters in the future.
