Mockingbird Hill

Sorry folks that I was not on here all last week. First of all the week began with me wanting to sing that lovely old song “Mockingbird Hill” with my favorite version being by Patti Page. Well yes, at the beginning of the week the birds were trilling, the cat was running up the trees and you wanted to sing odes to nature. Then just before Easter it went from bad to worse. Then temps dropped and I felt really bad. I was cold, my sinuses on full alert and during the night I would walk up with a shooting pain in my knee and had to take some ibuprofen. That was the night that the temps went into the minuses. Easter Sunday we woke up and the ground was covered in powdered sugar. That sounds so nice but it was snow. The snow melted during the day but the temps stayed low. Here in Latvia we have Easter Monday too so today was a holiday and it gave me a chance to catch up. However I am just still not feeling too well because this morning once again everything was covered in snow and by afternoon the sun has practically melted it all. With such changes one cannot feel one’s best but I will be on here most of this week. How was your Easter? How was the weather?
