What a morning.

First of all it might be nighttime right now to some of you out there, especially those in the US so let's just pretend it's morning for the sake of this story. I just took a bath about to get ready for class, when something really miserable happened to me. After I was done spraying perfume, I accidentally knocked the glass bottle and it fell down to the ground, shattered into pieces of broken glass, spilling all the perfume inside it. Slightly panicked with all the perfume that spilled on the floor, I rushed to grab a box of tissues to clean it up. I was really upset since I literally just opened that bottle of perfume, so it was brand-new. But I decided to move on and continue my day thinking, "Well, it could've been worse." And amazingly enough, I jinxed it. Right after I cleaned up all the spilled perfume and hung the carpet to dry, my mistake was that I forgot that there were still pieces of broken glass still left to be cleaned up. Unfortunately for me, I learned this the hard way. Maybe you guessed it already, soon after I accidentally stepped on one of the pieces of the remaining broken glass. Not a couple hours into my morning and I already wasted a bottle full of perfume and stepped on a piece of glass. Right then and there I was in a puzzled state of pain, panic, and urgency because I was already late for class. I decided to take a seat and try to clean the blood that was spilling all over my foot. But then my roommates almost walked to the same spot that I was injured at, so I told them to wait and let me clean the remainder of the broken glass first. It was all a mess because I was trying to clean the room while blood was dripping from my foot at the same time. Thankfully my roommate saw what happened and told me to sit down and treat the injury first while they clean the room. I kinda feel bad for having them clean the room there, since they too were also late for class. But I was a little bit relieved that no one else suffered the same injury as I did. So there's my crazy, miserable morning for today. I was frustrated in every aspect, but whatever, what's done is done. Right now here I am, staying at home myLotting instead of going to class, due to a chain of unfortunate events that occurred this morning. How was your morning?

I'm sorry that happened to you. I stepped on a broken bottle when I was about 14. I was wading in a stream and it was hidden in a deeper pocket under silt, so I didn't see it. It hurt for some days after and occasionally gives me twinges now 50+ years later. Hope your cut isn't too deep and that it heals quickly.

@BarBaraPrz Thankfully it wasn't anything serious. Cleaned it up, strapped a band-aid and today I can barely feel it

@definitelynotaziz yeah, one time i was wondering why my nephew was still here, so i woke him up. turns out he overslept/didn't hear his alarm, and missed one subject. he moved fast and left in a hurry to catch the rest of his subjects. any injury on the sole of the feet makes walking difficult.
