Hulu

I receive lots of e-mails from Hulu informing me when something new is coming to be watched. Some of them are great news, as I can easily watch the show or movie and others I can tell other people about them. Now I just received an e-mail informing me there is a new experience coming for Hulu. I start to get interested and down on the very bottom only for certain people. Its not for me, so why am I getting the e-mail to just be disappointed in what I'm not getting here??? Hulu should realize that is the fastest way to get people to stop subscribing to a service. Did you get the new experience e-mail from Hulu? Do you get a lot of useless e-mails to a service not available for you now?

We dont have hulu. Had it for literally two weeks to catch up on a show that ondemand didnt have newer episodes for. Then got rid of it. Nothing we liked on it.

It could end up leaving my house next year, as I'll be cutting some costs when my daughter finishes school. There are so many channels on my television that I could explore or check on demand to find new future shows or movies to watch.

@Courtlynn I completely understand, as our bill is high with the three. We are watching all three; however, in the future plan to travel more, so it would be dumb to pay for what we aren't using at home.

I still don't know, as the e-mail isn't good for me. That was why I posted, as can't understand why I received it. It looks like nobody else received it, so its even odder.

I haven't checked my email lately... but thanks for the heads up. I hate when they send mass emails and then say "Oh but it might not be for you" or "oh you have to buy this or jump through these hoops." Marketing!

I understand marketing has to be done; however, the information that its not for me was at the bottom of the e-mail in fine print. I wouldn't have even been upset, if they told me right away.

@Fishmomma I just don't see the need to send out a mass email when it doesn't pertain to you.. .There has to be a way to only send it to those it's relevant for...

@ScribbledAdNauseum I agree its terrible to see companies do mass e-mails and may end up turning Hulu off next year, as I have more television shows and movies to watch that I really don't need the service. My daughter likes Hulu and she is home several days a week this year, so its on for her.
