On the morning news this day there was a story about cat stress. When they are shoved into a pet carrier once a year for their annual exam. The experts say it might be a good idea to take your cat in a different entrance than where the dogs go at the vet's office. And, also to keep the pet carrier out all year long so the animal becomes more comfortable with it. You might put some food in it occasionally also.

Our cat wont go in his without us forcing him in. Takes about an hour to do. Our vets have a seating section just for cat owners. So dogs arent around.

Might be a good idea to try this on your cat then. Nice that your vet has this separate area.

Good idea about letting the kitty get used to the pet carrier.

Thats a good idea putting food in it occasionally. Poor cats usually hate those carriers.

Yes, so it seems a good idea to leave it out where they can become more comfortable with it.

Seems like the animals have started to stress out too. What a stressful life, the world has become?
