I finished my second hood for Sofía last night. If I mylot a lot, the knitting stops. But as I went to bed early, the second hood only needs to be sewed.
But I don´t have a needle for that. When I tried to knitt the hoods, I only had one knitting needle of each size.
I´m afraid my daughters stole my knitting needles as they also "borrowed" tupperware and thread to sew.
Fortunatly my younger daughter recieved all my mother´s knitting needles after she died. And the last time I was at her house, I saw it was the time for me to "borrow" things. Specially since I´m knitting for them.
Do your children take your tools? I remember my father was always checking for some tools he had lent to my husband

Yes, my children (and grandchildren) borrow stuff all the time. If they keep it long enough I guess they figure I won't miss it

My boys aren't interested in my needles and other sewing kits.
My mom used to knit a lot for my kids too...handmade things are so much better than readymade ones.

Not until I go upstairs and use my big computer. I don´t know how to send pictures to my laptop.

Mine have borrowed "things" as well like all of the great Films I had so patiently compiled on CDs and hey presto they have gone poof.
Who has them?
Of course no one knows.
Now I am too far out to "borrow" their stuff.
