Okay, before you start leaving comments that you knew I didn't have a brain; that was there but no tumors or masses; thankfully. The doctor and I can't figure out why my skull plates are separating; except possibly that because my bone density is so horrible, that the skull is dissipating, breaking down or disappearing. Since it takes 200 days (6 months) for bone to rejuvenate somewhat, even with me on meds and vitamins to help rebuild bone, it may take awhile for the skull plates to hopefully regenerate themselves. So just in case; like I told @JolietJake , I'll shave my head and @Corbin5 ; yep, I'm getting out the duct tape to wrap my head. That'll at least keep my brain from falling out.

Is the doctor sure about the diagnosis and about the cure he is suggesting? The skull bones are the only one not affected by osteoporosis, he should know very well. The skull bone does not get thin as it ages. It would be better you see another doctor.

@AbbyGreenhill I have known someone who had the same kind of surgery, the skull bones do not grow back. I still feel the indent on the back of my head where I hit my head very hard on the sidewalk.

@AbbyGreenhill LOL, don't tell him, if I pass my hand in the hair of my hubby I also can feel lumps on his head.

I couldnt stop myself from laughing when i read the last lines of your discussion. I hope that they find the reason as to why this is happening to you soon. It can be so annoying to remain.undiagnosed. it is good to hear though that you have no tumours. Take care of yourself friend

Wow that sounds scary..what if your brain would fall out? Now but seriously, we have no idea what is going on in our bodies do we? I know that things break down over time.

And I think with all the chemicals, pesticides, hormones, steroids and other weirdo stuff in our foods, it ain't helping @TiarasOceanView . I think those things are speeding up the process.
