We had our nun friend over for lunch the other day and she expected us to recite a prayer before meals. I explained to her that I am forever in the attitude of gratitude not just for the meal that I will have. but for so many things I am blessed with every single day. What about you? What is your thinking on this?

We say grace with our friends who like to; when there is just the two of us we don't.

May be more to please your friends but my logic is that we need to be forever in the attitude of gratitude.

@allknowing That's true but if grace is important to a person then we'll participate.

Yes but we do pray five times with the thankful gratitude through out the day.

That is what I also feel. There are so many other things that we need to be grateful for.
