The visit to my dentist-a roller coaster for sure!

Got home a while ago after my dental surgery. Turned out I needed more work at more expense than I thought. That was depressing. Then the dentist and his secretary worked the numbers with my insurance company and got the cost down a bit. That was exciting. After the procedure, I found out I would be missing two teeth for a few days until a temp could be put in. That was seriously depressing. How on earth was I to go to the work reunion tomorrow night, teach Sunday School, sing a special and attend a covered dish dinner on Sunday with MISSING TEETH!!! Then my dentist, who is the sweetest, most thoughtful professional in the universe, made me a temporary bridge so now I have teeth!!! That was very, very exciting. What a roller coaster afternoon. I was doing some serious praying and God was merciful as He so often is. Thank the good Lord for His grace and the kindness of a wonderful dentist! So, how was your day?

So glad you were able to get bridge made so you can do all that without missing teeth, and that you have a wonderful dentist. Have you been in any pain?

They suggested a pain med combo, but my mouth doesn't hurt at all. I hurt everywhere else, though!

@1creekgirl Wow, that is so strange that your mouth does not hurt but everything else does. I hope you feel better.

@MsBooklover I really am surprised that my mouth doesn't hurt from all that he did, but I think staying in that chair for several hours caused the arthritis and Fibro to gang up on me. A little better this morning.

I am glad they were able to fix your teeth temporarily and get the cost down too. Teeth are so expensive to look after. My day so far has been okay except for not up to par back problems.

Sorry to hear that. Back problems can really be bad. I thought I had hip problems that turned out to be coming from back issues. Take care.

My day was ok, I am still in a battle with my stomach which started an acid rebellion yesterday. Otherwise all good.

You could have stayed at home for a day or two if you hadn't got the temporary bridge, couldn't you?

I've just got back from the dentist too and have a temporary crown. Thankfully I don't have to sing!

My trips to the dentist are never fun. I am glad your dentist is so nice to fix you a temporary bridge and to help work on the bill.
