Good morning..............myLotters, its Friday and everyone have a great day ahead. The weekend is just one day away and I am set to enjoy it. Hope you all have plans too. Do you like Hibiscus flower? You know it has many medicinal values. Its scientific name is 'Hibiscus Rosa-Sinensis'. Hibiscus flower is used by different cultures as a remedy for several conditions. Egyptians used hibiscus tea to lower body temperature, treat heart and nerve diseases, and as a diuretic to increase urine production. In Africa its tea was used to treat constipation, cancer, liver disease, and cold symptoms. Pulp made from the leaves was applied to the skin to heal wounds. In Iran the hibiscus tea is drunk as a common treatment to high blood pressure. Hibiscus shows potential for cancer treatment, weight loss, and other uses. It is also very much useful in treating hairfall, it gives shine and natural color to our hair. So everyone, let us try to make a best use of the flower. The image is painted by me in MS Paint.

@manasamanu My mother had a beautiful hibiscus that had a single, huge lemon-coloured flower. It was just beautiful.

Yeah so many colors yellow, red, peach, and white. They grow as big as six inches wide. They are also used for decorative purposes and home decor.

I always like to try different flavours of tea. Maybe I might try Hisbiscus tea now for its numerous health benefits. Let us enjoy some nice cups of Hisbiscus tea together. What do you say.

That would be good but I am not a tea person, I rarely drink coffee/tea. May be some day I will try.

I drink a lot of tea. There are quite a few commercially available herbal teas that use hibiscus flowers as one of the ingredients.
