Hello everyone hope everyone is well. So I decided to pop in quickly and just share a little today. Some of you know that my wife is a stay at home mom and she is into crafts. So I wanted to show you some of the stuff she has been up to lately. She has been practicing and getting better with making things using the sewing machine. She has made a few and ended up giving them away and then got to thinking and wants to know if she could actually sell some.

i saw in the picture you shared in your comment here that the bag has a zipper to close the bag. so, is the body of the bag soft with foam? i think your wife can sell the bags in your neighborhood then when it becomes successful, maybe online selling as well

She uses a light material thin like bed sheets. She uses one pattern for inside one for outside and an extra one as padding in between for durability. The middle layers usually plain white so it's not noticed.

@ridingbet it's a small clutch like pouch they are machine washable. If she decides to sell them she said she wants to try to get reversible or double sided zips for the reversible bags. However this is her thing so I'm not sure what will happen yet everything is still up in the air.

@lokisdad oh, that purse is nice. is that a purse? it has no strap, so presume it is a purse, maybe coin purse? the inside can be washed as well, am i correct?

Thanks she is excited but a bit iffy because of all the other people who sell them. So she's hoping that hers being so different in pattern choices and lower prices will help her be able to complete.

Thanks I hope so too but she doesn't seem like she will sell any until she is feeling completely confident.

Reversible kid sac
She plans on it but she wants to make enough first no two are the same all different shapes, colors,sizes, zippered and reversible.

Our daughter loves bags and she loves her mom's bags if she keeps having to have them her mom won't have much to sell. Her mom made this pencil pouch and now it's my daughter's pouch

thanks she wasn't sure she made a few and gave them away. the pic below is of a zippered pouch she made special for a friend who asked for one.

Cute :) I can't see why she could not sell her stuff at either a Craft show, or etsy or eBay. Too bad she does not have enough made to try somewhere local to sell them with Mothers Day coming up.

Very true summer is a time where you see lots of pretty vibrant colored bags worn and displayed by woman. I'll pass the idea along she hadn't thought of that although she did mention people traveling during summer which gave her idea for zippered large strapless tote pouches
