Baby sitting or baby sleeping.

Well my sister in law is off to her daughters school for some piece of work. She said she will be back in half an hour. She requested me to look after his son who is sleeping in her room. So I am adviced to take care of him. So I am baby sitting. Or I am watching baby sleeping?
