Hi All,
I hope that you are having a good time. While working here on Mylot, a thought came to me.
We have different working styles and ways of earning here on Mylot. These styles can be compared to the way different cricket players play their cricket.
Some styles could be :
1)Fast and aggressive- long posts, a number of posts everyday, sharing on Facebook/Twitter etc, responding to a lot of discussions and spending almost 7 to 8 Hours everyday- akin to the way Virat Kohli, Chris Gayle or earlier Vivian Richards used to play- aggressive and fast, and ruthlessly.
2)At times slow, fast and moderate at times - I sometimes adopt this style. On some days, I come for just some time, spend time on initiating or responding to a few discussions. On other days, I can be more prolific, with starting discussions or responding to discussions or comments. This has been the style of players current and past like Rohit Sharma, Sachin Tendulkar, Michael Vaughan, Ricky Ponting etc.
3)Slow, steady but accumulating silently but efficiently- Then there is the approach wherin one consistently keeps on mylotting, commenting here, commenting there, starting a discussion, responding, and responding to responses.
Such people might not be giving big responses, but they are regular, and even giving small comments but regularly and consistently helps them accumulate good earnings.
In cricket, such players current and present have been: One of my favorites Sunil Gavaskar, Michael Atherton, Geoff Boycott, Rahul Dravid, and even bowlers like Courtney Walsh.
There could be some more styles and overlaps, but most of the people follow the above broad styles.
So which category do you fit in?
Or do you follow a mix of approach?

That's fine. Even I don't start new discussions everytime I come here.

Nice analysis.
Like your comparisons. I would like to add 1 category.
I come here rarely and due to other priorities, get often busy.
I can't be fast because I don't have time.
I can't convert between fast and slow because I have time only on Weekends. Those too, not all weekends
I can't be steady due to time problem. However, I try my best to manage it well and hope it works.

That category could be similar to an all-rounder who comes in to bat at number 7 or 8 and does not gets a chance to bat regularly in each match.

But perhaps sometimes, you might be scoring a few hits to the boundary or hit sixes to cross the ropes!
