You will never know until you try.
I often come across this painter who paints his paintings in his garage then sell them right in front of his house (like a garage sale). You should try that as well. Start small to see how it goes and also to have your name known to the locals. Goodluck.

people paid some bucks for the digital print only, and thats via commisions on tumblr, devian art, fb etc.. i think you could earn more for the hard print..
