Today we went to watch The Fast & the Furious 8. Perhaps at present the cinemas want to cut down the costs, so you either bring your 3D glasses or buy them in the cinema.
That's OK for me because I have five pairs of 3D glasses at home because my TV set has 3D feature.

I think the cinema should rent out the 3D glasses instead.
The customers can pay full price, and then get 90% of the money back when they return the 3D glasses.
If they do not return the 3D glasses, they can bring them home, and treat it as a purchase.

In the past the cinemas provided it totally free and you didn't have to pay for the rental. Since they have to clean these glasses and it increases their charges. This is why they consider not to provide it. You can still buy the 3D glasses there or bring your own 3D glasses.

I still have not watched The Fast & Furious. I did not know it is a 3D movie? How did you like the movie?

I also prefer to watch 2D movies but unfortunately it seems that the big and popular movies are mainly 3D version. I am nearsighted, and therefore I need to wear two pairs of glasses and now you understand why I prefer to watch normal movies.
