Do you ride motorcycles?

I have ridden backseat for many years. I have ridden ATVs and mini bikes a few times also. About 4 years ago, I took my classes and got my motorcycle license. I then took my time and found a bike that is appropriate for my size cause I am short and little. Heavy bikes are beautiful but I can't lift them off the kickstand. So, I have been riding for the past few months. I love it. In a lot of ways, I am now a newbie. I am not new to riding bikes but I am new to riding solo. When I am on the back, I am very comfortable leaning into the turns and curves. But for some reason, when I am riding solo, I not comfortable leaning. I suppose this is just something I have to learn over time. In some ways, I am learning new things about myself. Learning something new at my age is fun. My kids and family all think I am going to get hurt. I would rather live my life learning new stuff and trying new stuff than to only dream about it or watching others do what I want to do. I ride my own ride. I know my limits and stay within them. Impressing others is not the goal. Do you ride?
