I have written many posts about my grandson and daughter and our experiences with PSRs in the past. I found this information about PSRs and since several members have asked me what exactly they are I found this and thought I would share it.
Psycho-Social Rehabilitation is what the PSR abreviation stands for. And recently they changed the name to CBRS or Community Based Rehabilitation Services. This is not something that is in every state and it is for those with Medicaid only. It's for kids 4-19 and some adult services are available as well. Those that have been diagnosed with Serious Emotional Disorders for kids or Severe and Persistent Mental Disorder for adults.
Hope that helps.

He rebelled against getting another one but he seems to like the new one.

Yes that explains it well.
Thanks for doing so.
I saw that the new AHCA just passed and Medicaid is going to be 'modernized'.
So who knows now what that means for Medicaid.
Means Obama care is gone.

If it passes Medicaid will be cut by 500 billion I think they said. If it goes through the senate. But, then it has a couple more go arounds before it actually becomes law.I use it doesn't. A lot of people, including my kids, are going to be effected. All he is doing is setting up the rich people so they have it good and leaving the poor with nothing.

@celticeagle None of the politicians have a clue because it does not affect them..there is something deeply wrong with this country's idea of health care.

I imagine a lot could be put under those two umbrella's of terms. I'm sure I won't remember what it stands for, but at least I know I can look for it if I want to remember. Thanks for supplying the info.
