US Dollar Exchange rate.

After seeing a post from a myLotter in India where she had used her first payout of 322 rupees for something, I got curious to see what the US Dollar was worth in India. It was something like 64.2 rupees for every US Dollar.
Then I clicked on Euro's and apparently a US Dollar is only worth 0.91 Euros.
I am trying to get x-rates to load, which is a complete list of what the Dollar would exchange to in a bunch of different countries. While none of this is really important to me, I won't be travleling to any of these places anytime soon. Even so, it is pretty neat to see the different exchange rates.
Do you have any "foreign" money?

Living in Florida, which is a worldwide popular tourist destination, we get foreign coins of every sort showing up in our currency. I don't think there's a week that goes by where I don't get change back from a purchase that doesn't include a foreign coin or two. Canadian coins are the most popular, followed by British coins and even Euros. I like to keep and save any foreign coins I get, so when I come across them I put them in a special piggy bank I have in my room. Maybe because you're in the panhandle of Florida you don't see foreign coins as much, but living so close to Orlando we see tons of foreign coins!

@Lupita234 I've never found any old Spanish coins on the beaches before, but I have had friends who have found coins!

I don't have any foreign money of my own. The closest I got was a 20p from the Channel Islands (I'm in England so it's not far away) and I once touched a Scottish note! My Dad has a small collection of coins. They are mostly old British coins but I think there may be an odd Euro or Cent amongst them. No idea where they've come from considering my Dad has never been out of the UK!
The $US is currently worth approximately 77p (£0.77) and you can't buy much for that!

@thislittlepennyearns I've never been out of the UK either and never had any real desire to do so. It's a strange thing, though, as I find it astonishing that people who have visited other countries often don't know what's on their own doorstep! :)
I wouldn't mind going to a different country just to say I've done it but there are lots of places in England I haven't yet seen or that I'd like to revisit.

@Lupita234 There are 8 denominations of common English coins but there (1p, 2p, 5p, 10p, 20p, 50p, £1, and £2) then other parts of the UK (such as Scotland and the Channel Islands) are able to mint their own coins and notes, although they are not legal tender outside of their origin country.
We also have £5 coins but they are rare, as well as occasional commemorative coins of different values.

For some reason it is astonishing to me that people never travel out of where they are from, the US or the UK.
I had some Honk Kong, China when I was growing up.
I think the Scottish notes are cool. That would be a fun one to have.

currently 1 us dollar is 49.95 philippine peso. you can buy lunch or dinner with that, meaning, a cup of steamed rice and cup of one viand (pork, fish, chicken or veggie dish)

No foreign money. Just trying to convert US currency by learning about foreign exchange. Some people say they make money with their money that way. I believe it. I just don't know how to do it.
