simple lunch today

I put together a lunch of wedged tomatoes, chopped cucumber, and cottage cheese for myself today, seasoning it with a sprinkle of Steak & Shake seasoned salt (tastes similar to Lawry's). It felt too hot for a sandwich and I knew that cucumbers are good to eat when it's hot like today,
I'll be glad when my own tomatoes and cucumbers are finished growing and ripe, but this still worked. If I had put it on lettuce leaves, it would be a lot like what you'd find as the "Diet Plate" at a diner.

I'm not on any diet. I just wanted something not too heavy, but with protein and vegetables.

That actually sounds really good. We slice tomatoes in half sprinkle them with italian dressing and paremesean cheese, and bake them for a little bit. But yours sounds yummy too!

That sounds like a nice thing to do with tomatoes! I'm a big fan of roasted tomatoes too.
