Warren Buffett drinks 5 cherry cokes a day for many years. He is already 89, and still very sharp. He definitely is not going to give up the habit. If I drink 5 cherry cokes a day like him, I will have a massive medical bill to pay!

What we consume doesn't affect everyone the same way.

@crossbones27 I will not want to risk my health by drinking 5 cokes a day, not even 5 cokes a week. Warren Buffett is already very old, so he dare to take risk. I do not have the same risk tolerance.

Why will you have a medical bill? Is the coke expensive or do you think it might not be so good for you?

It is not good for me. The caffeine in 5 cans of coke will be devastating to health, on top of all other chemicals in the drinks. I do not even drink 5 cans of coke in a month.

@JudyEv You can keep in mind the medication properties of Coke. The residents in highland in China used to boil Coke with Ginger as a treatment for high altitude sickness. It sure is comforting to drink the brew when you are cold, not getting enough oxygen, and have a bad headache. I drank nearly the whole kettle!

@scheng1 I never drink coke. It doesn't seem to have a good name.

Maybe he will pay for your medical bills. He can afford it.

The thing about the rich is that they do not spend money unnecessarily! If they want to help others, they will be sure that the charities are registered, and they can get tax rebate for it.

i will fall sick if I have that much coke in a day too. My immune system is not as strong as Warren Buffet.

Perhaps when we reach 80 years old, we can eat all the junk food! By then, we do not have to worry about the long term effect of having junk food in our body.

Is Warren Buffet drinking his Coke with or without sugar?

I confess. I drink a lot of soda, but my drink of choice is Mountain Dew.

I think you can as long as Warren Buffett and still remain a sharp brain! Maybe it's the soft drink that keeps him going strong at old age.

Well they say, coke can clean your plumbing. Not sure how his kidneys and liver lasted so long, but no digestive issues for him for sure.

Perhaps he is blessed with very good genes. If ever he gets warded in the hospital or go for surgery, I think the share price of his company will fall. As it is, he drinks coke, eat sweets and all sorts of junk food, and still is very healthy and wise.

I don't know maybe his body has learned to accept it but to us, it definitely give us health problems. Probably best to stick to vegetables and fruits.

I could not drink that much pop in one day. I limit myself to one or two a day.

I also cannot. I doubt I can drink 5 cans in a month, much less in a day. I think I will have to pay a very high medical bill if I ever drink like this.

I know. Why do some people get to do whatever with their health and be well?

Perhaps we can eat and drink whatever we like when we are in our 80s! By then, it does not really matter. We will have health problem regardless of our diet, and we do not have to worry about the long term damage from eating junk food or whatever.
