Trump has fired FBI Director James Comey

Oh boy. This one is interesting.
Comey helped Trump win the election by making announcements about Hillary's emails. Recently he reiterated that "hundreds of thousands of them" (possibly classified according to him) were sent from Clinton to her aide Huma Abedin and then on to Abedin's husband (who does NOT work for the government) for printing. During the same testimony he said that the thought that he may have affected the outcome of the election makes him "mildly naseous". (only MILDLY???)
Comey is also in charge of various investigations into Russia's involvement in the 2016 election and the Trump campaign's possible collusion with them. It could go all the way to the top on this one, folks. They've been on this since BEFORE the election. And Comey has been on Trump's bad side since he contradicted Trump's insane assertion that Obama bugged Trump Tower.
This morning it was reported that Huma Abedin didn't forward hundreds of thousands of emails to her husband to print out as Comey said. It was, apparently, only a handful. That may or may not be have been a factor in things, but in any case, President Trump fired FBI James Comey today. . . the man in charge of investigating him and many people who do and have worked for him. That sounds above board, right?
NO IT STINKS TO HIGH HEAVEN!!!! Could he look any more guilty? He fired the man in charge of the investigations looking into his collusion with Russia. And people think he is a savvy businessman?

I really do not understand why the Democrats are so upset that Trump fired him when months ago they were calling for Comey's firing when they thought he had hurt Hillary's campaign.

Every American should be upset because this is blatant obstruction of justice which is an impeachable offense. We now know Trump LIED (SURPRISE!!) about the reason for the firing, as if we didn't already know it wasn't over his treatment of Hillary Clinton after Donald praised him when it happened. I didn't like how Comey treated Hillary, he broke protocl by saying what he said when he announced there would be no indictment and again when he made it public that they'd found what they supposedly thought may be "new" emails while at the same time he kept it secret that the FBI had been investigating the Trump campaign all along but the fact remains he WAS investigating and it's obvious Trump figured if he got rid of Comey he'd end the investigation. As it turns out it looks like he made things much worse for himself.
