I finished this book yesterday, and will say first off that it is a very very emotional book that deals with a very very emotional subject. Rachel Joy Scott was one of the teens killed during the Columbine School Shooting in April of 1999. Witnesses who saw her get shot not once, but four times say that she was initially just shot in the arm, but when the gunmen saw her trying to get away they came back held a gun to her head and asked her if she believed in God. When she answered, "You know I do." They killed her at point blank. This book is a collection of her journals, notes and school projects that her parents thought would help tell her story and the story of her faith in God after she had been killed. The book also goes back and forth between both parents as they remember that day and the year after it. Having already seen/read many accounts and things about this shooting I was familiar with what happened that day, but was unaware of Rachel's story. This book is a beautiful reminder that life is so short, and that always stand up for what you beleive in.

She was. So sad that she only lived for such a short time. But she lived such a big life- you know what I mean? What movie are you talking about @TiarasOceanView

Your recap of the book gives me chills yet it's something I'd probably enjoy reading.
