Hello (Bonjour) 7's!

Those who know me from the B site know I love watching sport. My favourites being Cricket and Rugby. I haven't done a discussion on sport in ages, but couldn't resist this time!
This weekend is 7's Rugby in Paris! And Since the final in Singapore last month was between Canada and USA, with Canada beating USA, well I thought I had to let my Canadian and American friends know that your teams are becoming a force to be reckoned with!
USA has given my team the South African Blitzbokke a few nerve wrecking moments as has Canada.
South Africa has to try to win every game in Paris this weekend to keep a very important lead. But with USA and Canada getting stronger with each tournament I am very nervous about what could happen in the tournament! Wish the South African Blitzbokke luck?
I will let know how USA and Canada do after the weekend. Have a great weekend all!

Oh boy, Janet, does England ever have a team! They have beaten us twice in finals in this tournament! Try to catch it on telly this weekend. South Africa play against Scotland first this morning. I will let you know how England does. Have a good weekend @jaboUK and good to see you

Thank you so much @dpk262006 , with so much going on in my life, sport is a nice escape. IPL has been interesting from highlights I have seen. I can only hope my Rugby team wins this weekend

@bluesa I understand your passion for Rugby and Cricket and watching sport is one of the best options to de-stress yourself.
IPL is interesting but I feel too much of everything is bad. I do not see IPL matches on regular matches because of lack of time and other commitments.

A lovely photo through the trees. I am not really a fan of sport but Rugby for me is synonymous with South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, France, Wales, England Scotland and Ireland. I am surprised to hear about the USA and Canada but I also heard even Japan are becoming quite a force to be reckoned with.

Yes, Gary, Japan is actually also becoming a force to be reckoned with. And England has beaten SA twice in finals in this tournament this year! So I am worried about them taking on my team too. Thank you, glad you like the photo @garymarsh6

@bluesa That is surprising for England then because over the past few years they have been atrocious! Maybe not in rugby but football certainly!

I hate to admit it but I've never seen a Rugby Game. Go Canada!!! ( Football is our sport - the US and Canadian kind.)

@PainsOnSlate , I think you and your husband would enjoy 7's Rugby. Canada did well again this weekend. But neither Canada or the US made it to the final again. But are becoming a force to be reckoned with.

@DianneN , yes That was taken outside my front door . Thank you so much my dear friend, I know how much you love your country, so I appreciate that a lot. USA is becoming strong and I wish them all the best against the other teams. If they beat us, it means they were stronger, eek !
