This is a great old movie. Made in 1961 and is 2 hours and 16 minutes long. It has Bette Davis, Glenn Ford, Ann-Margaret, Hope Lange, Ellen Colby, and Peter Falk in it.
This is a delightful story about a gangster in New York who gets what he thinks is his luck from buying an apple each day from the street beggar, Apple Annie. One day she isn't there and he is in need of luck badly. Come to find out the beggar's daughter is coming home for a visit and bringing her fiance with her. The gangster's girlfriend guilts him into helping Apple Annie and the chaos and craziness that ensues makes for a great ride. If you haven't seen it you should.

I have seen this Frank Capra film which was a remake of his 1933 Lady for a Day.
