Road safety awareness summer camp for children / myLot

Hello every one, I have seen an advertisement in newspaper about the summer camp organized by Delhi police and students will be imparted training free of cost on different topics like Traffic Rules, Road safety norm, Road signs, signal and marking, first aid, self defence , disaster management, fire safety. They will also conduct games and painting competition, quiz competition, essay writing etc. The training will be given from today (May 15 ) onwards upto 9th June in selected locations in Delhi. Students from class 6 to 12 are eligible for the same. I think that is a good move from the Delhi police and children are the promise of tomorrow. Due to the heat in Delhi the timing will be from 9.30 am to 10.30 am so that children won’t get exhausted. What do you think about this program?

For me this a very important training and seminar that would attend by children and adult alike. Every one should be educated with road safety and awareness

It is a very good thing as children will get to benefit from this program. As you said there will lots of activities which will help for self development

Many schools are not closed yet for summer vacation so they could extend it next week. That is what I felt.

@Shavkat Now summer vacation begins for most of the schools. But many schools are yet to start their vacation so those children can't participate in this summer camp.

That's good. More and more girls should attend this program as you know the safety concern of girls in Delhi. My kids are in 4th standard so they are not eligible otherwise I would have sent them.
