Coupon Confusion

So, from doing my surveys,forums and what not I received enough credits to get a 25.00 Safeway card from Amazon. Now, there is not a Safeway near here, there is one in a town about 45 minutes away. I am going to be a bit closer to that area today so I figured I would take the card with me. Looking at the Safeway coupon's however, is quite confusing. It seems like all the good coupons are for a store even further away. I am not going there! I think I need to maybe call them up and see if they will honor the coupons from the other store in the one I am going to..Have you had that happen?

Yeah it works! I am always on a gas hunt..sadly, this particular store does not have gas stations though.

Well i know from doing couponing that its not the easiest thing to do and you have to know each store and what they allow and dont allow. Its alot of confusion all the time for me LOL. I always have to go to the stores website to make sure im doing it right too.

Yes, you have to be mindful of the expiration dates as well.

Yeah, I used to be closer to them as well..but here all we have closeby is Food Lion,not my favorite store..another regional chain, and an independent market kind of like an IGA.

I don't see why one store would have certain coupons that another Safeway store wouldn't honor. I have never heard of Safeway or any other grocery store doing that. I used to live in Portland, and safeway used to honor all Safeway coupons.

I would definitely call ahead and see if they honor the coupons before you make that long trip and find out they don't. It's possible all Safeway stores honor all coupons

That is weird i have never seen where coupons are only for select safeways there for all usually
