Due to the computer virus WannaCry, the bitcoins become much more famous. I wonder how to get the bitcoins? In the past I knew that you could create it by the computer. If you need the bitcoins to pay for the WannaCry, how to get so many bitcoins online? Are there reliable websites to buy them?

I do not know how to earn that. But there are sites that pay bitcoins if you play and if you win.

Free bitcoin sites only give you small amounts of satoshis, not enough to pay the ransome, gambling might get you into more trouble

It is so scary. The problem is that Bitcoin is not guaranteed by anyone, yet we have to use real money to buy and the hackers can sell for real cash.

If you are in a hurry and need bitcoins righr away, you can buy from an exchange, here we have a site called coinsph, you depisit money to their bank account and bitcoins will appear on youcoinsph account. China has several of the biggest exchanges of crypto currency. You can also purchase using paypal through a site called wesellcryptos but charges are higher and you need to get verified, plus there are certain stages of verification as to the amount you can buy. There is no guarantee that if you pay them they will restore your encrypted files

@louievill I buy/sell altcoins at Poloniex will check wesellcryptos if the site is mobile friendly I am always on mobile. I like Wirex because they have affiliate program and other sites' fees are quite high.

I think the frightening thing is that anyone can start a virtual currency. if ever North Korea starts a new virtual currency, and it gains popularity, then they can use it to steal a lot of real money all over the world.

@LadyDuck I will stay away from it forever, until some countries claim the right to control the circulation, and to guarantee the value of the virtual currency.

At the moment the time you have posted this the value of 1.0 BTC (Bitcoin) is around $1,800. Right now it has already surged to $4,200 and it will continue to rise as a lot of other Crypto-Currencies are gaining momentum having their own surges in the Coin Market Cap. There are lots of safe ways to earn bitcoin. There are also some risky but feasible ways. The safest way is to join a legit and paying investment site and be an affiliate marketer (Really Earned much from this) and post your links to social media sites and never get tired of sharing until the site is paying. If the site's cashing out process has stopped then be fair and stop promoting! I will post how to earn bitcoins and other crypto-currencies on the next few days!

I use WirexApp.com. Wirex has plastic and virtual VISA cards. The virtual card can be linked to PayPal but we must verify our account. I used to withdraw/transfer PayPal funds to Wirex visa card to buy Bitcoin from Wirex itself. Here's the list of supported countries for Wirex VISA card issuance (your country is included):
Presently, the number of supported countries for Wirex card issuance and delivery is limited. If you cannot find your country in the supported country list below, it means we are unable to issue an...
